Here is a list of my favorite Super Bowl ads for 2008. Click here to read the entire article which I wrote on Associated Content.
As I look back on them, I feel more and more strongly about my number one pick and the great story line that was developed in just the span of an ad. I thought it was among the most original Super Bowl ads I've seen. The entity sponsoring it surprised me - the NFL.
I felt the marketing message was captured well.
I also have to say the Budweiser ad which showed the Clydesdale training for a year brought a round of applause from the group who I watched it with. I was sitting with a number of senior citizens for the first half.
Okay, I'd really rather say I was sitting with a group of 25-year-old to 35-year-old female ad execs but . . .
During the second half, I sat in my living room and enjoyed the final two quarters while helping my wife sort through information for our taxes. But enough about my love life!
