Here is a well-written article from Brian Wesbury and Robert Stein detailing the concerns, or should I say dangers, of increased government spending, higher taxes and limits on charitable deductions.

While I never looked closely into how stimulus money is being spent, hard-working entrepreneurs have little access to it while government-led projects such as clearing a 2-mile hiking trail near my house leading up to Mt. Wilson take first priority.

If you're in favor of higher taxes, then please detail how they'll benefit and boost the economy.
