Each industry has its own "shop talk." I got "tagged" twice this week by my good friend Jesse who's been writing during some rainy days recently in Cape Town, South Africa.
My wife, a nurse practitioner, and I were attending a pharmaceutical conference some years ago in Palm Springs, California. We walked out of the hotel to the parking lot and heard a few taxi drivers discussing fares and passengers.
We chuckled at how language becomes so specialized. Blogging has its own language as I've discovered during my three months of writing.
I told my wife about getting"tagged," sending out "pings" and working to see my "authority rating" grow stronger.
So thanks, Jesse, for the tag and your encouragement. There are a number of other bloggers I'd like to recognize and I'll do in my next posts this weekend.
Also, coming later today is an interview I'll post with a blogging team in Singapore.
